Healthy Looks Different This Season

As the seasons change, I always find myself reflecting on how much my idea of “healthy” has evolved. There was a time when I didn't really think about my health. I was young, invincible, and had the metabolism of dreams. Then things changed as they often do. Life shifted, I had responsibilities, and then eventually a family. I found myself trying to juggle all the curve balls that life threw, and somewhere I lost sight of me, and my health- although important, took a distant back seat. So people think that being healthy means perfection — never missing a workout, counting every bite, and constantly chasing progress. Now honestly....who has time or energy to perfect? Not only is that perspective exhausting
g, but it also limits your progress and at times can make you feel like a failure.
Wanna know something? Real life has a way of teaching you balance. These days, healthy looks different, it feels different, and it means something different. I'm sure if I'm feeling like that, those of you reading this can relate. Now, healthy looks like finding peace in the middle of a busy week. It’s choosing real food when I can, things that are less processed, with ingredients I can actually pronounce. It's moving my body in ways that feel good and empower me, and giving myself grace when I can’t do it all.
This season, I’m inviting you to redefine what health means for you. Maybe it’s drinking more water, maybe it’s going for a walk, maybe it’s just slowing down enough to breathe before the day starts.
Whatever it looks like — own it. Your version of healthy is enough. 🌸
